The cabins here at Half Moon Trail are all nestled among mature oaks and pines along the pristine shores of Boot Lake. We offer several different lodging options. Some of the cabins have been here since the beginning, and are more of a traditional lake cabin. Our modified A-frame cabins are roomier than a typical A-frame. The two newest units are large, unique, and beautiful reunion cabins that are able to host large families and have a few extra niceties. The lodge rooms feature private balconies – each with a stunning view of the lake and surrounding gardens. Most units sit on the water and all have a lake view. A charcoal grill, picnic table, and chairs are provided on each of the cabin decks to soak up the outdoors on your Minnesota family vacation. All of our lake cabins are equipped with a full kitchen including pots and pans, microwave, coffee pot, stove/oven, and cooking utensils. The bed linens are provided, but please remember to bring beach, bath, and kitchen towels from home, along with kitchen and bath soap.
