H
ere is a short summary of Half Moon Trail Resort.  The cabins are newer or have been recently remodeled.  Five of the cabins are large enough to accommodate ten people or more.  Our  20 by 40 foot  pool is heated to 81 degrees from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Our resort is located on Boot Lake, three miles long and crystal clear.

There is a large sandy beach for swimming, sunning, and playing in the sand.  Many kids' activities and family programming make this an exciting resort for kids.  The resort grounds have been landscaped and include over 25 gardens of various sizes.  The Park Rapids area features four golf courses, many shopping and dining choices, and a multitude of other family vacation activities.  On the other hand,  if your idea of a great Minnesota vacation is to relax with a good book or rig up your pole and cast for bass or jig for walleyes, then Park Rapids and Boot Lake are certainly good choices.  Itasca State Park, famous headwaters of the Mississippi River, is just minutes away.
